2007 Garric Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon

This is our fifth vintage of Garric Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon, and it couldn’t have come in a better year. The 2007 vintage in the Napa Valley was stellar!

Robert M Parker Jr calls the 2007 vintage brilliant: "I can unequivocally state that 2007 is one of the three top vintages of the decade.....it is a brilliant vintage across the board". We could not agree more, as we believe 2007 Garric is our best wine yet!

Winemaker Pam Starr crafted a classic Garric Cabernet from fruit sourced from our same two world class and highly rated vineyard sources. We believe the combination of fruit from these great vineyards produce a distinctive wine.

Tasting Notes

"2007 gave us a beautifully concentrated wine with soft velvety tannins. Bright purple black color. The nose shows off layered complexity, loaded with aromas of sweet blueberries, currants and black cherries with a hint of caramel and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine reveals flavors layered with sweet blueberries, cassis, plums and black cherries. The wine is chewy and has great balance with a long luscious finish. The wine can be approached early with decanting, yet will age effortlessly for 15+ years. This is undoubtedly the most profound Garric to date!" ... Gary & Ricardo

Low yields and strict selection kept our production low in 2007. Only 574 cases of 750ml bottles and 180 Magnums were produced.

Harvest began September 27 and was completed on October 8.
