Garric Cellars 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon

Garric Cellars' initial release, the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, is made from 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from two prestigious Napa Valley vineyards.  The combination of proven terroir, low-yielding clones and labor-intensive viticultural techniques have produced an extraordinary wine that expresses the characteristics of the world-class vineyards.

Making Garric is truly a labor of love which allows us to express our definition of a great Cabernet.

Tasting Notes

We have been excited with the enthusiastic  feedback we have received from  friends and food and wine professionals who have tasted the wine since it has been bottled.  Comments have ranged from:  Voluptuous...intriguing...delicious...to: "I really liked the wine.  I would like to order 15 cases for my restaurant".  Here is what two  Master Sommeliers have to say:

Richard Betts, MS: "Loads of precocious personality highlighted with rich black fruits and heady brown spices.  It feels thoroughly complete with bass notes of coffee and milk chocolate".

Jason Smith, MS: "After my initial taste of Garric, the first words out of my mouth were, why didn't you bring a second bottle?  This seductive and spicy cabernet is rich, full-bodied and well balanced.  Garric is a tremendous first release that has a long, silky finish that begs you to have another glass".
